Greek punk-powerpop quartet The Overjoyed from Athens have released their new single “Don’t Listen!”, which also features a video. The song, which was created entirely in their home studio Buduzi, takes a candid look at the topic of mental health and, according to the band, is a message to their younger selves.

The Overjoyed have been active since 2011, and have released albums Boomdoggle (2016), Aced Out (2019) and last year’s EP Pressurepop. They have previously played alongside greats such as Green Day, and now they hint that the single “Don’t Listen!” paves the way for a new full-length album.
