If you’re looking for Oi!/punk that doesn’t lack a good dose of rawness, check this out. The Welsh outfit The Dogs has just unleashed their new EP „The Only Band Called The Dogs“ under the wings of the London label Gob Nation.

The record features four uncompromising tracks: „I Didn’t Ask,“ „On The Attack,“ „Laughing At Myself,“ and „Take It From Me“. The band maintains their specific, aggressive sound, which this time was „polished“ by Jonah Falco, who handled the engineering, production, and mastering at the Sheffield-based Delicious Clam studio. The visual side and mixing were taken care of by Daniel Anderson.

The EP was officially released on March 4, 2026, and for physical media enthusiasts, there is a limited 7-inch record available, which should start shipping around March 9. Listening and downloads are available on Bandcamp.

The Dogs confirm that they belong to the most interesting acts on the current British DIY scene. This EP is a must-listen for anyone who isn’t looking for complexity in music, but rather pure energy.
