Vršnjačko nasilje: Srbský Oi!/punk v ryzí DIY podobě.

Trvalo to dlouho, ale výsledek stojí za to. Srbská úderka Vršnjačko nasilje vydala své debutové album. Pokud hledáš autenticitu, tady jsi na správné adrese – kapela se držela striktního DIY přístupu a jejich heslo mluví za vše: „DIY, a ne AI!“

Na albu najdeš 12 skladeb, které vznikaly už v roce 2024, ale na aktuálnosti neztratily ani trochu. Hudebně je to poctivý koktejl, kterému dominuje britský Oi!/punk podle střihu z 80. let s trochou špíny garage rock’n’rollu, občasný výlet k hardcoru a občas trochu temnější poloha známá z post-punku.

Nahrávka putovala po několika srbských studiích (Bělehrad, Novi Sad, Petrovaradin, Mladenovac), aby získala ten správný švih. O zvuk a produkci se postaral kytarista Dragan Sjordgrendsten, zatímco basák Ljuba vymazlil obal plný ilustrací.

I když je album venku digitálně od 26. března 2026, kapela klade důraz na hmatatelný zážitek. Deska vychází pod křídly spřáteleného labelu Dirty Old Label (Dirty Old Empire) a k dispozici je kompletní svatá trojice formátů LP (Vinyl), CD i Kazeta

Texty reflektují frustraci a rozčarování ze společensko-politické situace, což k tomuto žánru neodmyslitelně patří. Pokud chceš slyšet hlas ulice z Balkánu, tohle album nesmíš minout.

It’s been a long time coming, but the result is well worth the wait. Serbian powerhouse Vršnjačko Nasilje has finally unleashed their debut album. If you’re looking for authenticity, you’ve come to the right place—the band stuck to a strict „do-it-yourself“ approach, and their motto says it all: „DIY, not AI!“

The album features 12 tracks written back in 2024, yet they haven’t lost an ounce of relevance. Musically, it’s a solid cocktail dominated by 80s-style British Oi!/punk, mixed with some garage rock’n’roll grit, occasional forays into hardcore, and hints of the darker vibes found in post-punk.

The recording moved through several Serbian studios (Belgrade, Novi Sad, Petrovaradin, Mladenovac) to capture just the right punch. Guitarist Dragan Sjordgrendsten handled the sound and production, while bassist Ljuba perfected the cover art, which is packed with original illustrations.

Even though the album has been available digitally since March 26, 2026, the band puts a heavy emphasis on the physical experience. The record is being released through their friends at Dirty Old Label (Dirty Old Empire) and is available in the „holy trinity“ of formats: LP (Vinyl), CD, and Cassette.

The lyrics reflect frustration and disillusionment with the socio-political situation—a staple of the genre. If you want to hear the true voice of the Balkan streets, this album is a must-listen.

Kapela Majkan pochází ze srbského města Apatin a na scéně se objevila v lednu 2019. Od té doby se prezentují nekompromisním punk-rockem, který kombinuje melodiku s dravým nasazením a právě teď vydali čerstvé EP s názvem „SLOBODA“. Pro fanoušky syrového punk-rocku je to ta pravá volba. Dostáváme pětici úderných skladeb s texty v místním jazyce, které nenechají nikoho v klidu a potvrzují, že Majkan neztratili nic ze své energie a přímočarosti.
