Indonesian Oi!/punk band Sixtols has just released a new single, Jhonny Wanna Chance. The raw and energetic track confirms that the band is still going strong and keeping their own style. The new track follows on from their previous work and shows that Sixtols are not giving up and still have something to say.

Sixtols have been active on the scene since the last millennium. In 1999, they released their only official album, Sixtols. Then I lost track of them and this year the single Wake up appeared, followed by the EP Decided and now the current Jhonny Wanna Chance.

Their recordings combine classic Oi! drive with melodic lines and sometimes even ska. For Oi! and punk fans from all over the world, Jhonny Wanna Chance is further proof that this music can work anywhere in the world and that there is a rebel everywhere who takes a guitar and starts cutting and doesn’t care about anything else.
