The king of ska and skinhead reggae is back with a new live album! Roy Ellis, also known as Mr. Symarip, is releasing a concert recording—Live in Prague.

It was recorded last November at the Malostranská Beseda club in Prague alongside the local band Rudeboy Paradise and is now being released as a luxurious 2LP by Liquidator Music. The sound was handled by Neil Anderson (Original Gravity), and the result will certainly be worth it, because the live concert was one of the best I’ve ever seen from Symarip – energetic and packed with soul.

This is no mere nostalgia, but pure proof that ska and reggae are still alive. The official release is on November 15th, but the first copies will be available at the release party on November 11th, back at the scene of the crime in Malostranská Beseda.

Roy Ellis continues to prove why he is rightly called The Boss.
