If you’re looking for the essence of modern Richmond hardcore, Lose Sight is a name you simply cannot ignore. In late January, the band released their new EP via Fortress Records, titled with a clear statement: “Richmond Straight Edge.”

Across less than nine minutes, they deliver seven uncompromising shots that pull no punches. It’s „no-bullshit“ hardcore in its purest form – fast, punchy, and true to tradition. Lose Sight follow up on their 2024 demo, solidifying their role as one of the most prominent torchbearers of the straight edge movement in their city. The record was also released on limited colored vinyl, which flew off the shelves at lightning speed. If you’re into straightforward aggression without any frills, this is a must-listen.
