The old guard is back. Razorblade announces their return, and following the first previews and a music video, a new EP is out. Naturally, it’s released by Rebelion Records and bears the fitting title, The Old Guard.

Four tracks, nine minutes of pure aggression, pride, and the typical Dutch Oi!—as honest as a bottle of Jenever after a shift. The title track, „The Old Guard,“ is a clear manifesto—no concessions, no compromises. „Anti-Artistiek“ cuts into poseurs and pseudo-intellectuals, „Yuppies“ kicks exactly where it should, and „Wij Zijn Terug?“ („Are We Back?“) answers with the very first blow – yes, and at full strength.

Sonically, it’s straightforward, hard, and without unnecessary frills. Razorblade proves that the „old guard“ still has plenty to stand on and that Oi! never truly disappears; it just occasionally goes quiet, only to return even stronger.
