Pitshot Announce New Album Zerrissen

The German band Pitshot is back in the game three years after their debut, Auf die Feynte. The band has announced the release of their new album, „Zerrissen“ (meaning „Torn“ or „Ripped“), which came out on November 14, 2025, via Smith & Miller Records.

According to Pitshot, the new material is more biting and gets deeper under the skin than their debut. The title, Zerrissen, refers to a feeling of internal pressure and dissatisfaction, but the band simultaneously promises that the lyrics will still have room for classic themes like friendship, loyalty, and those nights out you’d rather not ask about the next day.

The fact that the band is a solid part of the German scene is evident from the invited guests: Toifel from the band Berliner Weisse appears on the track „Fuck You“, and Schulle from Toxpack contributes to the song „Chaos und Wahnsinn“.

The album features 12 tracks, and the band reports it will be a mix of rougher streetpunk and melodic passages, which suit Pitshot more and more.

I really like it on the first listen. If you enjoyed their debut or have a soft spot for German punk with a driving edge, you should have this on your radar.
