The American Oi!/skinhead outfit Oil! has just released a new 10″ LP titled They Honour Our Glory. This record is a co-release between the allied labels Bovver Pressed Records, No Front Teeth, and Germany’s Contra Records.

Oil! serves as a satirical tribute to traditional Oi! punk, often approaching classic themes like pub life, scraps, and kegs of beer with a sense of hyperbole and humor. Their music is a cocktail of raw energy and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, making them a unique phenomenon on the scene. The new LP follows up on previous material (such as The Honour of Glory) and confirms that Oil! aren’t just „another Oi! band“—they are a distinct American interpretation of skinhead rock’n’roll with its own specific charm.
