New England’s newest outfit Cittizins brings raw street Oi!

If you felt like the good old days of singing about scrapping under streetlights and crew loyalty—where nobody bails even if they’re about to lose half their teeth—were fading away, this lot is here to set you straight. These East Coast rowdies have hit the scene with a clear mission: to bring back pure aggression, working-class pride, and a sound that offers no warnings.

I’ve heard two tracks so far and I’m already craving more. Cittizins don’t do modern experiments. They don’t talk about „feelings.“ Their music is exactly what fans of the genre crave—thumping bass lines, hard-hitting drums that sound like marching boots, and no-nonsense lyrics.

The single “The Last Resort,” currently available on all streaming platforms, is an anthem about loyalty, street rules, and that tipping point where words are over and fists and boots do the talking. Their second track, found on YouTube, carries a similar, uncompromising vibe.

Both songs are just a taste of what’s to come. The band has announced their debut LP, also titled “The Last Resort.” Judging by these first previews, we can expect a record that doesn’t flinch, takes no prisoners, and is ready to bleed for its truth.

Keep your eyes peeled—I think something big is heading our way.
