New cold Oi! project Betume from Brazil releases single and video

Betume is a new project from Porto Alegre, Brazil. I borrowed the band description from their Bandcamp page, as it captures everything essential and is very well written. I would only add that the band sings in Portuguese.

Formed in 2025 by Guilherme Silva (guitar and vocals) and Vinícius Fantini (bass), the band presents a sound that blends the angry, urban aesthetics of Oi! with a bleak post-punk atmosphere.

The band has just released a new single titled “Sozinho Contra Todos” (Alone Against Everyone). The track was recorded at Ahead Records and produced and mastered by Lucas Queiroz in December 2025.

So far, the single has been released digitally on Bandcamp, and the band has also dropped a music video, which you can watch below. I’m curious to hear more new material and hope that Betume will soon find their way onto vinyl grooves as well.
