Neuro Bats is a Prague project you shouldn’t miss

Prague-based band Neuro Bats is making noise again – this time with a new video that confirms this crew is not afraid to push the boundaries of pure punk. The band, composed of members who have passed through the grime of hardcore and rock ‚n‘ roll (e.g., Unholy Preachers, Kevorkian, Eastern Stars), releases a clip for a track from their EP Neuromantic Heavy Beats, which came out this spring.

The video follows up on what was already heard on the record: dense riffs, a drive reminiscent of a garage somewhere between Motörhead and early Queens of the Stone Age, but still with a punk foundation. No polished surfaces here, just a sound that hits your ears before you can even turn down the volume.

Visually, they maintain a minimalist directness: the band, guitars, drums, vocalist – simply reality as we know it from small stages, not MTV.

With this video, Neuro Bats confirm that the Prague scene still has something to offer outside the established norms. It’s raw, catchy, and has its own character. And even if it’s not typical punk or hardcore, the feeling is still there – no posing, just honest guitar music and a groove that makes you nod your head.

If you like to try something a little different, or if you’ve missed their name so far, this video is the perfect moment to fix that. Neuromantic Heavy Beats has its charm.
