California hardcore mainstays Lionheart are announcing their return with a new album, VALLEY OF DEATH II, set to be released in January 2026. As a preview, they have already dropped two singles, one of which is accompanied by a music video.
The band once again confirms that they are among the most prominent names in modern heavy hardcore and that, even after years on the scene, they still keep the bar high. The new tracks follow their typical style: a tough, uncompromising sound, massive riffs, and a direct, even confrontational delivery that makes Lionheart memorable and distinct from other HC bands. It is clear that the band has not strayed and continues to rely on their proven combination of metallic elements and a streetwise expression.
At the same time, they sound more self-assured than ever: the production is polished, every track sits exactly where it should be, and the whole thing runs like a well-tuned machine. The new singles suggest that the upcoming record will not just be another notch in their discography, but material with the ambition to push Lionheart further. For fans of the band and heavy HC in general, this is a welcome confirmation that 2026 will offer another dose of heavy-hitting material for listening and moshing.
