Canadian band Home Front from Edmonton are my favorites and now they serve us another single from the upcoming album Watch It Die, which will be released on November 14, 2025 by LA VIDA ES UN MUS DISCOS.

“EULOGY” again contains a characteristic mix of dark mood and sharp energy. Synthesizers, guitars, let’s call it coldwave. Lyrically, it is a song about losing someone we cared about, who had an influence on us and also about how to cope with it. Everyone has experienced such a loss and the song, for me, captures well the heavy feeling and the creeping questions, why didn’t I show up when I still could?, why did this happen? The atmosphere is dark and heavy, in places maybe a little cathartic. The video for the song further underlines the atmosphere, check it out. Anyway, a strong song. I can’t wait for the album.
