Hailing from the frozen landscape of Western Massachusetts, GREM is making their presence felt once again. In late January, under the Playing With Blades label, they dropped the next chapter of their campaign: the EP “Winter Street Tapes: Vol. II.” If you’ve got a soft spot for raw street punk heavily laced with Oi! and a gritty edge, don’t sleep on this one.

The record serves up three original anthems and a cherry on top—a cover of Criminal Damage by the legendary Blitz—leaving no doubt about exactly where their roots lie. It’s blunt, honest, and reeks of street asphalt. You can blast the digital version on Bandcamp or Spotify, where it’s been out since late January.
