Austrian punk rock veterans DeeCracks are back with a brand-new album. Their fifth full-length, True Nothing, will be released this October via Pirates Press Records, while the CD edition will be handled by Austria’s Lotterlabel. The Vienna-based trio will deliver no fewer than 18 brand-new songs, following up their 2021 studio album Serious Issues.
The past few years have been anything but quiet for DeeCracks. In 2023, they celebrated their 20th anniversary with 20 Years. A Frantic Effort, re-recording a selection of fan-favorite tracks. A year later, they teamed up with Andrea Manges for a full cover version of the legendary Ramones album Brain Drain. On top of that, they’ve continued to maintain an almost non-stop touring schedule around the world.
The first taste of the new record comes in the form of the energetic single „Revenge“, accompanied by a great new music video. If you’re into melodic punk rock packed with catchy hooks, fast-paced energy, and a healthy dose of Ramones-inspired spirit, this is exactly what you’ve come to expect from DeeCracks.
True Nothing will be available on several colored vinyl editions as well as standard black vinyl, and pre-orders are already live.
