German streetpunk band Daddy’s Belt are gearing up to release their new album Hammerschläge, which is expected to come out sometime in November via Contra Records and Subculture For Life. According to the band, the record is already on its way to the pressing plant, and the first taste of what’s coming is already available on streaming platforms in the form of two tracks. And they sound damn good! So far, we’ve got the title track Hammerschläge and Serotonin. They both have their own character, but they’re solid punk rock, each in its own way.
The artwork was created by Karla Schröder. I’m no expert, but it looks like linocut to me, which makes it a proper piece of art rather than some quick AI-generated crap.
