Czech Clockwork punks Proti Směru will celebrate 25 years of the band’s existence and it seems they intend to celebrate in style. At the end of September, the cross-section album Clockwork Generace 2000 will be released, which will guide listeners through the entire history of the band from the very beginnings to the present day.

Until that happens, you can shorten the wait with a new video clip for the older, but newly conceived song Bootboys. I like that song, it’s part of the soundtrack of my adolescence and I was happy to hear it after a long time. I remember a concert in the now defunct Pancore club, which I co-organized and where I first saw Proti Směru live, I think I was still in school. Oh well, back to the video. It’s a nicely done professional job, the guys play instruments, practice, box and walk in front of a brick building and it suits them very well – almost like 25 years ago. So let it play and I’m looking forward to the album!
