Legends never Die! The icons of early British punk, The Buzzcocks, prove that even after nearly fifty years, they haven’t lost any of their energy or catchiness. The band, led by Steve Diggle, has announced the release of their new—and twelfth—studio album, titled „Attitude Adjustment“.
The album, which Steve Diggle jokingly describes as „punk rock with a Motown vibe,“ features 14 new tracks that reportedly combine raw punk power with melodic hooks. The first single, „Queen of the Scene,“ accompanied by a video, already shows that The Buzzcocks still know how to write a great song—it’s classic Buzzcocks: absolute melody, a couple of pop hooks, and you’re swaying to the rhythm from the start. The band isn’t content with just playing old hits; they are serving up high-quality new material. The record is set for release on January 30, 2026, on Cherry Red Records.
And with the new record, the band will spend a large part of 2026 on the road, facing a tour across a significant part of Europe. The „Attitude Adjustment Tour 2026“ is a celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary and promises a cross-section of timeless anthems like „Ever Fallen in Love“ alongside hot new tracks. Don’t miss this living punk history in action!
