If you love that moment when a band doesn’t waste any time, just goes for it, and blasts through 15 songs in thirty minutes, then you need to check out „Straight to the Point.“ The quartet of young guys from Turnhout, Belgium, known as BrainDead, has just released their new record, and the title says it all.

After cutting their teeth on stage alongside icons like UK Subs or The Casualties, these guys have delivered an album that is exactly what punk should be – fast, cheeky, and with no unnecessary bullshit. The record was released digitally on Spotify in early January 2026.

Punk in Belgium is very much alive. If you’ve been missing the rawness of old 80s UK bands mixed with a modern hardcore drive, „Straight to the Point“ is for you. No complex art here, just punk straight between the eyes.
