I came across a project called BLVCKHELICOPTERS and I have to say that this guy (he calls himself Michael Maus) is really going full speed and the frequency with which he releases new music is dazzling. It’s an anarchist music project that mixes punk, post-punk, streetpunk and darker influences and mixes politics, anger and resistance to all authorities.

He keeps releasing new singles on Spotify – in recent months, for example, „Eaten Alive“, „Your New Way“, „Unite or Die“, „Peace is Dead“ or „New Wave Anarchists“. Plus albums like Making All the Right Enemies or the older Savages. There’s simply no danger of boredom – rather than trying to listen, you just can’t help but be amazed at how much this guy pours out.

If you like music that’s not polished and reminds you that the world really isn’t right – BLVCKHELICOPTERS deserves your attention. Check out Spotify or Bandcamp and see if it gets you as excited as it did me.
