A new band, B.O.O.T., is sticking its neck out from the Canadian city of Ontario. They are a complete novelty to me, even though, judging by the posters, they have already managed to share the stage with bands like Varukers, Béton Armé, Alvilda, Puffer, and others. A few days ago, their five-track demo appeared on Bandcamp.

The most distinct and most memorable element is probably the female vocal performance. Musically, this is confident streetpunk with a lot of energy and occasional overlaps into other subgenres.
