UK streetpunk powerhouse Control has unleashed their sixth studio album, aptly titled „Kick Down The Doors“. If you’ve been missing straightforward, aggressive, and melodic punk rock with a massive dose of Oi! and hardcore punch, Iain and the lads have just served up exactly what you need.

This is precisely the kind of proper streetpunk many of us grew up on. No frills, no compromises – just 14 dynamic, high-energy tracks packed with sharp social commentary and unapologetic lyrics, kicking off right from the opening blast „Fuck the System“. Madrid punk band Plastic Meat releases 7-inch „Losing It“

Madrid’s fresh blood Plastic Meat, tearing it up since 2024, are releasing their second EP titled „Losing It“ under Folc Records. If you’re into wild garage punk and gritty rock ‚n‘ roll, this record is a must-hear.

Plastic Meat serve up six tracks that instantly and ruthlessly attack your nervous system, leaving no room for calm. Musically, the band blends the legacy of classic ’77 punk with the ferocious energy of gritty, high-octane rock ‚n‘ roll. Expect vocals reminiscent of X-Ray Spex that cut straight to the brain, sharp guitar lines, and a punchy, straightforward rhythm section. All six tracks were recorded this past March at Madrid’s La Chulona studio.

Lyrically, the release is an intense and dark emotional purge. The lyrics delve into paranoia, self-destruction, anxiety, and toxic relationships. With none of the songs ticking past the two-minute mark, it’s an incredibly fast and raw ride.

Madridská punková smršť Plastic Meat vydává sedmipalec „Losing It“

Mladá krev z Madridu Plastic Meat, která to drtí od roku 2024, vydává pod labelem Folc Records své druhé EP s názvem Losing It. Pokud ujíždíte na divokém garážovém punku a špinavém rock’n’rollu, tahle deska by vám neměla utéct.

Plastic Meat servírují šestici skladeb, které jdou okamžitě a nekompromisně po vaší nervové soustavě a rozhodně vás nenechají v klidu. Hudebně kapela kombinuje odkaz klasického punku roku ’77 s dravostí špinavého vysoko oktanového rock’n’rollu. Čekejte vokály připomínající X-Ray Spex, které se zaříznou přímo do mozku, ostré kytarové linky a říznou přímočarou rytmiku. Všech šest tracků nahráli letos v březnu v madridském studiu La Chulona.

Textově je nahrávka intenzivním a temným emocionálním výplachem. Texty se noří do paranoie, sebedestrukce, úzkostí a toxických vztahů. Vzhledem k tomu, že stopáž žádné z písní nepřesáhne dvě minuty, jde o neuvěřitelně rychlou a surovou jízdu.

Pro milovníky fyzických nosičů vyšlo EP na klasickém 7″ vinylu. Nahrávka je také dostupná na streamovacích platformách a Bandcampu vydavatelství.

Off the Top ze SKINNECTICUTU “Against the World”

Loňský Oi! objev Off the Top z Connecticutu se s tím rozhodně nemaže a právě napálil světu další tři tvrdé údery přímo na solar. Jejich nová nahrávka dostala nekompromisní název „Against the World“.

Celou palbu otevírá pro mě nečekané dudácké sólo. Tohle skotsko-irské retro sice nemusí sednout každému, ale nenech se zmást – hned vzápětí se totiž spustí nefalšované peklo, pak už se valí hrubý, hutný a masivní zvuk, který je typický pro americkou Oi! školu silně říznutou nekompromisním hardcorem.

Tohle minialbum je soundtrackem k čisté frustraci a pouličnímu vzteku. Odkaz zní jasně: Pokud tě něco sere, popadni baseballovou pálku a napal to vší silou – i kdyby to měl bejt celej svět- a pokud tě nic nesralo, tak teď už bude.

Čistá agrese a nula kompromisů. Nic víc, nic míň, pusť si to nahlas a zaútoč!

This Scottish-Irish retro vibe might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but don’t let it fool you – right after that, all hell breaks loose. What follows is a raw, thick, and massive wall of sound typical of the American Oi! school, heavily infused with uncompromising hardcore.

Kalifornská smečka Problem z Los Angeles se vrací na scénu a nehodlá nikoho šetřit. Právě jim vyšlo zbrusu nové čtyřpísňové EP s nekompromisním názvem „Working Class Slave“. Nahrávka vznikala ve studiu 1753 v Boyle Heights a přináší přesně to, co od těchhle maniaků čekáš – syrový, úderný a energický punk rock s pořádnou dávkou Oi! pouliční špíny.

Na albu najdeš čtyři zářezy: Witness Eliminator, Alone, Dance With My Boots On a titulní pecku Working Class Slave.

Recorded at 1753 in Boyle Heights, the release delivers exactly what you’d expect from these LA maniacs – raw, hard-hitting, and energetic punk rock with a heavy dose of Oi! street grit.

Němečtí Hydra hlásí „Talking Is Over“! První singl láká na nekompromisní desku

Německá oi!/punková sebranka Hydra vypustila do světa čerstvý singl s názvem „Talking Is Over“, který slouží jako nekompromisní první ochutnávka z chystaného alba. Jak kapela sama uvádí na svých sociálních sítích, skladba je ostrou reakcí na současné společenské dění, vzestup populismu a dezinformací.

Textově se Hydra do pravicových demagogů, fake news a slepé poslušnosti opírají bez servítek a s jasným vzkazem: „Talking shit must have consequences“ (Plácání sraček musí mít následky).

Deska dostala příznačný název „Punching Up“ a oficiálně vyjde 1. července 2026. Podle slov kapely rozhodně nečekejte žádné kopání do slabších – název mluví za vše.

Podle informací z Instagramu kapely vyjde album kromě digitálních platforem také na kazetách pod labelem Black Cat Tapes. S pořízením ale neotálejte, magnetofonové pásky budou limitovány na pouhých 161 kusů!

Germany’s Hydra Declare „Talking Is Over“! First Single Teases Uncompromising New Album

German Oi!/punk outfit Hydra have unleashed their fresh single „Talking Is Over“, serving as a hard-hitting first taste of their upcoming album. As the band stated on their social media, the track is a sharp reaction to current social affairs, the rise of populism, and misinformation.

Lyrically, Hydra take a no-nonsense swipe at right-wing demagogues, fake news, and blind obedience, delivering a crystal-clear message: „Talking shit must have consequences.“

The album is aptly titled „Punching Up“ and is set for official release on July 1st, 2026. True to the band’s words, don’t expect them to punch down—the title speaks for itself.

According to the band’s Instagram, the album will drop on digital platforms as well as on cassette tapes via the Black Cat Tapes label. But don’t sleep on this release—the tapes will be strictly limited to just 161 copies!

They plan to drop their second single around mid-June.
